About Sarah Marks Illustration
Sarah goes by many names... Bean Illustrating (Bean was a nickname inspired by the BFG), Sarah Marks Illustration (giving props to Grandma Marks and creating a clever spin on the word 'mark/s'), Sarah Pryor Design (the OG name, baby she was born this way).
What began as an art affinity; painting, collaging and drawing her way through the world, moved through the spectrum of graphic design and is now blending into tattoo design and meticulous illustration. She is obsessed with learning new skills and techniques, you can only imagine the state of her art studio...
Bean Illustrating showcases every aspect of her life as an artist. From the fields of Shropshire, to the sunny west coast of Canada and back to the Marks roots of Norfolk; Sarah has taken a lifetime of deep overthinking, playful feminism and dark humour to create this body of work.
